Mr David’s Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope those parents taking advantage of Luton Schools half term have enjoyed the welcome though strangely warm weather for the end of October.

Firstly, a strong plea for your co-operation. We operate a zero tolerance policy in nursery regarding the use of mobile phones in or near our building. Please kindly comply, immediately, whenever reminded. Thank you.

In looking back we thank everyone helping us in our Great Ormand Street Hospital for Sick Children Charity event ‘Bake Better’.  Over two days – we raised the fabulous sum of £157.54. Money already sent to the Hospital. Also, with your hat making, we were able to send £20 to the Happy Days Charity in Luton. Our Thank you to everyone.

As I write, we are looking forward to the visit to us of Gemma Hunt, a presenter on the CBeebies television channel who will be entertaining your children with wonderful examples of interactive story telling. Please ask your children to describe what they saw if you are unable to join us.

For November and mentioned elsewhere in this newsletter, look out for information on the following –

  • Parents Evening Consultations with Nursery Key workers
  • A new series of  sessions of Yoga training with Gary
  • Visit of our Nursery Photographer – pictures in time for Christmas/New Year holiday period
  • Children in Need Charity Fundraiser

Finally, many parents make use of our own dedicated nursery photo albums online. If you would like further information please ask at our office.
