Dear Parents,
I hope everyone leaving children with us at Training Depot, at the beginning of their learning journey, during September; have been very pleased with the attention and great care all our staff are providing at this occasionally very sensitive time. We do understand it can often be just as difficult for parents, very occasionally more difficult, than it proves for your children.
Should any parent still be having concerns, please be sure to ask a member of our staff. Should you find attracting the attention of someone working in the nursery rooms difficult, please call into the office, where there should always be someone available.
Building close and strong relationships with parents has always been a very important goal for everyone working in our nursery – therefore it was especially pleasing several parents were able to join us on our Autumn Walks with children following the start of the new term. Added to these opportunities, this month, we will continue to make regular visits to our nursery garden at St Ann’s Retirement Home in Lansdowne Road, to which all parents are also invited. In October, we look forward to parents and carers joining us for our Family Breakfast arranged for October 20th starting at 8.30 am. We always seem to have spare places – so should this date not be your child’s normal day, please ask a member of our team if we have places and bring your child with you.
I need to mention, all local schools have their half term, the last week of October. Our nursery stays open throughout half term, please inform us if you decide to keep your child at home during the week starting October 27th, thank you.
In November, we will be offering our Consultation Evening for parents to meet with their child’s Keyworker, in both Nursery Rooms, so we can share the progress being made also answer any questions you may have. Remember, we do have private photo albums of pictures taken of your children during their work and playtime at nursery – if further information required, please ask at the Office.
